The WSJ Law Blog has a piece about how women at big law firms are still up against a glass ceiling. In fact, 99% of the top paid partners at big firms are men. In addition, while women make up half of the ranks of newly-minted associates, that percentage dwindles considerably higher up in the ranks as women only make up 27% of non-equity partners and less than 16% of equity partners.
