It was reported today that famed guitarist Joe Satriani has filed a lawsuit against the band Coldplay for copyright infringement in a Los Angeles federal court. Satriani claims that Coldplay plagiarized his song, “If I Could Fly” when it composed its new hit, “Viva La Vida.”
Some clever person put the songs back to back in a YouTube video and then mixed them together. Check it out and see what you think. They sound pretty similar to me.
